Driving Miss MyC

Driving Miss MyC to school for three consecutive days during this school break is rather rewarding. First, I got to send her a little bit late than the usual rush on school days. Meaning, I needn't have to 'race' with other equally impatient drivers! Then, there's always the beautiful eight o'clock sunshine morning greeting us, instead of the cold dark morning at fifteen to seven...

Ooopsie, that's one naughty driver overtaking
the double line! I'm so gonna show this pic to
the traffic police!

 Ooh, I love this scenery...
...that is why I always slow down when I pass the area,
It's beautiful!

From MyC's school I can always stop at the fisherman's wharf and it was on that Monday morning, I got myself these beauties....

....ikan loban; adik beradik ikan kedera...hikhik..
I could have bought the senangin  which was aplenty
and as big as cats, but koser nak menyiang!
Gutting these fish pong dah semput akak! hehehe)))

*Tata! Nak masuk dapur dah....nak masak lomak ciliapi ikan loban ni... er...on second thoughts, goreng pong sodap! ;-)

Akak,

Oooo...baru ku tahu..ikan dopong! hehe! Tapi kat sini masih ikan loban dan tak ramai yang tahu..ngehngehngeh

Tadi saya masak lomak tak letak ciliapi sebab ciliapi elek. So letak cili merah pedashh punye...campur cili hijo. Wooo...jangan tanya ler sodapnya! Memang saya tak pernah ada mak mentua so tak de mak mentua yg nak lalu belakang saya! Wakaka!

Ayoh Wang,

Ikang loban ni ikan laut. A bigger version of ikang belanak and ikan kedera.

Hehe...masak lomak beshh!

Noir,

I feel the same way too about Penang. Kalo ada banyak ongkos..nak rasanya beli property kat island.

Satu ikan tu I goreng letak bawang jer on Monday - whilst it's still fresh. But today buat masak lemak. Sedap! ;)

Zarin..

Bukan teruk, but you belum kenal jer nama2 ikan! Biasa makan tak ikan masin 'bulu ayam'? Hah, yang tu ler ikan kedera! Cuma this one version besar punya...hikhik! KLili pong selalu confuse antara ikan kedera and ikan belanak. Rupa sama, rasa sama...apsai lain2 nama? heehe))

Hi Lili, what time can I come over for dinner of that ikan you bought? Ha ha.
Nak goreng ke buat lemak?
Yes, that road is very nice.
You grumble about that driver overtaking on a double line....

I'm wondering about ladies who hold cameras take pictures while driving.
Arhaaaa ha ha.
Drive say, keep well, Lee.

Tergelak I bila baca u want to report that car but you are taking pictures with yr phone while driving, heh heh heh...

Where about is this road..so beautiful...

By the way it has been eons since I last heard the word ikan kedera...my fav when I was small. Goreng sedap giler!

Hi Lee!

Haha! By the time you get here, I would have started on another dish!

Now, now Lee..I'm a very good driver, only on some occasions I can't help beating the red light! If you had read carefully, I was on the way to send my daughter to school. So, the little missy was the photograper while mummy's driving! ;)

Nurie,

Hehe! I pegang steering tau, my daughter yg menembak guna kamera chokia I...hikhikhik)))

Oh, I'll give you a clue about this road - you'll get to see "men in flying suits"...Auwwwww!

Ikan kedera goreng sedap giler...but nak menyiangnye, malas giler, kecik weh! hehe))

I think I've seen that ikan at the s'market here but then again I might be wrong/perasan aje kot? hehe..

Banyak tulang ke?

Lili said...

CS,

Ikan Loban ni ikan laut and nampak macam ikan jelawat. Tapi jelawat ikan sungai and I think what you've seen at supermarket tu could be jelawat sebab kat Tesco and Carrefour selalu ada jual jelawat. Loban susah nak dapat tau. I think it is natives in Pulau Pangkor and Langkawi.

Takde tulang except where they're supposed to be! Wakakaka!
