Not So Wordless Late Wednesday! ;D

Was back in Ipoh last weekend.... And guess what I brought home for old time sake? Well...what is Ipoh without these:

fresh from the orchard...and delivered straight to my mum's door
and then happily idle on my table....
For a good, tasty, juicy pomelo, allow the fruits to mellow a few days after plucking.

And look what I savoured this afternoon....hehehe...

...this is how we present our 'limo abung'/limau bali
And I have two more pomelos to melantak enjoy...hahaha
One will definitely be turned into Thai-style pomelo salad
'Yam Som Oh'! Oh...betul ke Cik Yam and Cik Som? hikhikhik!!!

Note: Oh, one thing for sure is...I've been tagged! Oh, oh, oh!!!

I dah kata nama SOM mmg femes, tssk.. I ada kawan orang Thai nama dia Som Pop tapi dia male, hehe.

My kenangan berlima beradik (2nd batch of 5), it was fun to eat that pomelo. Tak sure sebab pomelo tu sedap sangat tapi kitorang enjoyed sangat bila kulit pomelo dibuat 'green beret' hasil kraftangan my aunty. Vic Morrow tengok pun nangeshh, wa cakap lu, hehe..

Psst...My late dad was the one who taught me to carve pomelos, and he was good. Talk about anothet Cancerian in my dad! I miss him everyday. :'(

JA-nis de menis,

Boleh sesangat sebab cara buat keravu pomelo ni lebih kurang macam you buat keraVu velimVing. Cuma ada letak nampla, gula nisang and asam JAwa. Hehehehe...gelak kat JAwas tus! ;)

psst...luFA. kelaFA parut disangrai instead of tumbuk sekali macam your version of kerVel. :D
