Iftar - Day 8

Wow, eight days already, eh? Only eight days and here we go again....asking the same question, 'what to cook today?' My menu has definitely 'shrunk' form a three-dish meal to two and only one for sahur. But buying outside food for mains, at the pasar Ramadhan is not the answer. Not even an option...for now-lah...hehehe...Who knows, towards the end of Ramadhan, perhaps.

Yesterday's iftar meal was simple but absolutely appetizing... Well...hehehehe))

 Kari Daging yang....malas nak citer...hahaha! ;p

 Terung Berlada


Sunday, the seventh day of puasa, I made a simple Egg Dhall Curry. *Earlier today, I gave a step by step instruction to Akak on preparing this dhall. Er... dhall ni kalo ada buah kelo/ramunggai/drumstick lagi ler sedap! ;)* Hah, amacam Kak Som? ;)



 Some eggs were intact, some just separated...
But of course. A cook has her days too...hahaha!

Yes...dhal tumis darat. Buatnya senang, makannya hadam, main tambah air panas kalo pekat...hahaha...ape lagi? Hah, pekena dengan sambal tumis udang hari tu...perghhh! Kalo ada ramunggai tak payah letak potato and carrot...hehe

Ini macam punya cerita kalu, itu Aunty CS kekdahnya kena buka ramunggai/kelo/drumstick plantation ler.... Aunty Lili nak tahu, Mama kita ada gluten intolerance and tak boleh makan certain kekacang like dhall and mungbean. So kalau makan paratha dengan your kari daging OKlah, the egg dhall cannotlah. purrrr *giggles*

Kononnya masak dari 3 lauk ke 2 lauk TAPI you masak so da very complicated one, acceptable ler tu. I kan, kalau tambah sekeping dua timun pun I dah kira 1 lauk. Tambah 1/2 ekor ikan masin, dah
jadi 2 lauk. Haaa... <- tonasi riak sambil lentikkan kening!

I masak dhall tanpa dhall. Apa maknanya tu?

Oh kesiannya your mama. Nasib baik dhall and kacang hijau jer, kan? Hmm...bab cicah prata with my kari daging tu...uish, tak payah cakap..hehe...bak kata Uncle Lee "dua pinggin saya licin!"

Ye sesangatlah tu! I rasa semalam paling janggal makan dua dish. Pastu nak nampak 'gah' sikit buat jelatah timin/nenas. Hari ni rasa nak buat lagi tapi makan dengan dry curry sotong.

Ye...apa maknenye masak dhall tanpa dhall? Dhall dah kene pureed ke? ekekeke

Psst...cafe jual desserts yg ada banana crumbles? :D

Fagi2 tadi kiter dah vervincang fasal masak memasak..akhirnya u masak dhall telor.. akak cuma setakat masak sambal terung....
- jari luka.. malas nak memasak.. (alasan)..
