I Really Don't Have A Title!

Salam Ramadhan everyone!

I know, it has been days my blog remained silent. I've been busy and, got tired easily too that by the end of the day all I ever saw was my pillows.

We have entered the third day of Ramadhan. Hari pertama sibuknya macam esok nak raya! Actually, I was helping a friend yang sakit. Tolong masakkan bubur nasi, sup sayur campur dan goreng-goreng ikan saja... Bila dah  tiga empat orang kawan gathered kat rumah dia dan tengok dia makan dengan seleranya, yang berpuasa tu gelak-gelak kata sedapnya...walaupun I masak simple macam tu! Hehe!

First day puasa, we had Kari ikan bawal, sayur kobis, ikan goreng and sambal belacan. Lots of fruits for starter and desserts. I don't really fancy kuih-kuih manis. I also made 'sarbat'. You know, rose syrup with lots of spices added. Hubby bought a big packet of 'akar rempah' whatever... I made a big pot and bottled them up  and stocked them for perhaps, a couple of weeks. I'm a lemonade person, so sirap mirap ni, I tak berapa 'masyuk'! Anyway, I had lots of lemonade during my Rejab and Syaaban fasting so I guess what the family wants is what I get... Haha!

Berbuka semalam, buat bubur lemak/ kanji/ bubur lambuk... makan dengan kerabu taugeh kosong, meaning, takde kerang atau perut. Sedap begitu sahaja! hikhik!!







Hmm....dah makan ni, so tak makan nasi ler...

Waktu sahur tadi, baru jumpa nasi. Nasi panas-panas dengan lauk yang I baru dapat recipe from my cousin, whose mother, my aunt lah tu...  is a very good cook.  :)

Apa-apa jer lah... sebenarnya malas nak menaip ni... kalau ikut hati nak 'take a break' jugak macam Oldstock and Mamasita. Maybe next time.

samalah kita, 1st day iftar berkari ikan bawal (psst, huby tak sker bawal tapi bini dia skerrr, hehe). Bawal gor with butter, heaven!

You ABC meh? I dah lama pencen so I shd be able to have a 'straight As', kekdahnya.

Bubur lambuk or any other type is my fav but not huby's... so caner I nak naik tarafkan my cooking skill???

My hubby pun tak berapa minat kari, sebab tu I buatkan dia ikan gor and sambal belacan!
Bubur lambuk pun dia kurengs... kekdahnya semalam I kena gak lari ke pasar ramadan belikan dia nasi kerabu...

Camne ek nak naik taraf skill? Hehe.. I ingat orang2 ketam ni semuanya terer masak! Aww!!!

Mah,

Memang sedap! Bukan nak masuk bakul ke hape.. cousin saya lelaki lagi, semua pandai masak! Dia ada postkan resipi ni kat facebook. Nanti saya letak kat notes saya, insy.

Hahaha...tergelak saya, Mah mengantuk tapi lawan mata ek, masih nak berblog! :))

My huby suka kari tapi lebih baik bubuh ikan yg dia suka.
'Ketam' supposedly pandai masak ke? heheh .. no wonder (ahaks, kononnya mengaku, walhal....)

Wahai Lili dan Cik Som,

Memang ketam pandai masak... itu saya boleh konpemkan.

Ayam malbari itu nampak begitu lazat sekali. Tapi dah beberapa kali mintak dari Lili nak try rasa masakan dia tapi cuma dapat hidu bau jer... hahaha...

Hang jangan la nak take a break pulak Lili... Oldstock dan Mamasita nak rehat kejap sebab ada alasan masing-masing :-)

I jarang2 buat kari guna ikan bawal unless I dapat bawal yg fresh from the sea. (kat sini ada fishing village...selalu gak dapat ikan bagus2, udang, ketam..usah cakaplah.. memang the best!)

So, I lebih suka kari ikan jenahak, tenggiri or senangin or kerisi. Hubby tu suka sebenarnya, tapi kalo ada ulam2 n sambal, dia tak pandang dah kari mari ni! Tu yg I selalu sabotaj kata belacan dah abis! Wakaka)))

Now you know CS... Oldstock pun dah conpemkan... he must be a good cook too.. macam Anne, taukeh homemade chocolates! ;)
