When I'm Not Blogging .....

I have been away from blogging lately, and when I'm bracing myself into my virtual world once more, all I encounter with, is silence. Here, there, everywhere. Silence. You all pernah tak rasa sunyi bila ber-blog-hopped lately? Sunyi kan. Sayu pun ada... banyak blog yang prolific dulu, yang selalu kita tertunggu..er..I mean, I ler, yang tertungu-tunggu dah tak update langsung. Agaknya musim kambus dalam pasir dah melanda. And it is kinda contagious too. It affected this simple blogger - me! I don't know about you guys, as for me, there is no difference whether I blog or not, my traffic is terribly low...hahaha..,but that is not the reason why I blog in the first place. Let's just put the unnecessary worries aside... let's look for sunny days ahead, instead. ;-)

* I googled for this picture...hehe!

The last few weeks memang rasa malas sangat nak berblog. So, I spent most time brooding reading, tilawah-ing and driving from coast to coast. Er, bab driving from coast to coast tu, baca aje ye, percaye jangan, ekekeke! Tapi memang selalu on the road aje sampai tak tau kemana arah tuju asal happy ikut gerak hati. Ada masa tu, bila jemu reading, bila otak tak daya nak ingat hafazan for the day... I just need to unwind. So, I lined up a new hobby - lepakings! It turned out, melepak ni best ek!

Hah, tak caye? Yes, one Tuesday morning, when the mood to lepaks datang, I melepak ler. Just stop and stare er, I mean just sit and pretending to mind your own business but actually, was busy watching the world passed by. But then, what was there to watch on a quiet working day when I hardly spotted the crowd at this remote shopping mall! To think I had travelled south to this side of town...huh...all that 40km to and fro... [Yo! ini perempuan manyak berani letak ini gambar, you... harusku limitkan time...hahahaha!]

And then there is another craze I've been indulging in. Oh me like like! I think, since the first day of Raya until Syawal came to an end, I have been tucking in on this fruit - cherries. I finished the last punnet of cherries some three days ago. Itu pun punya ler sparingly makan sebab the season has passed and, as I checked on the ones sold at the 'pasar petang Chai Leng Park', they were scarce and  the quality was quite bad. Anyway, I have had my share more than enough...hehe...
I was right the other day when I told hubby I would stop buying when the season is out. And hubby joked about my smelling like cherries! Tapi kesian kat hubby, tak lawak pun joke dia...
So, I had cherries for snacks while reading...

...and the best place to do so was in bed in the afternoons... hiks!

The last punnet was treasured like gems!
And they were not as big as the ones I got earlier...but a month of eating only cherries was a
BLISS!

Tapikan tapi...I bukannya tak makan buah-buahan tempatan, you all... makan...tapi tak minat. Ada gak orang tanya, kenapa tak makan rambutan ke belimbing ke? Well, kalau I citer mesti you all heran sebab I lebih suka makan products derived from our local fruits. Contohnya, durian. I tak sker tak sker....hehe..tapi TEMPOYAK...hui, jangan sape mintak tau kalo I dah lenyek derian-derian yang elok-elok tu menjadi tempoyak! Belimbing besi I tak suka, tapi belimbing buluh sangat menjadi pojaan hati...hikhikhik... Ni sambil menaip ni, sambil terkecur dah ayaq liuq!

Adeh, tak terasa ye bila dah start menulis...terpanjang sudah! So, bye bye dulu...

Aunty Lili,
Agaknya kalau kita bawak ke orchard cherry down under, mau tak mau balik ni! Kena pulak yang organic, sambil petik sambil makan. We found some heavenly plums at MBG today. Yummmmm...purrr meow!

prolific or not, when i 'feel' the blogger i pasti ternanti2 updatenya.

i ikut naluri kehidupan seharian. rasa nak express, i will, no pressure. takut blogging jadi chore (read, unpleasant but necessary task) pulak nanti.

have a great weekend Lili.

Angelina,

MBG kat MidValley ke? You know what? I am supposed to go to KL this weekend, but something suddenly came up...and last night I was brooding when my family members tengah lepak lepak kat PNB Darby Park's apartment tu... And lebih sedih...ada yang terlepas dah ke klcc! waaaaa)))

Noir,
Writing to me is like cooking. Macam mane I love cooking, macam tu ler I love writing. Imagine ye, bila sehari tak masak?
Bila tak menulis rasa macam demam tak demam jer... lagi kelako! Maybe it's not about making it a chore or not but rather, a passion. And you've got it right there, 'no pressure'! ;)

Yat,

Durian memang sedap..esp dapat isi macam kat Balik Pulau tu! Still, I tak tahan makan banyak2.
Tempoyak lain...hehe...once you have concocted it into many dishes, perghhh....malas nak elaborate! muahahaha))

Kak Emily,
I tak sabar nak balik makan durian but don't know whether it's still in season or not. Like Yat, I pun tak tau macam mana nak makan tempoyak, hehehe.
Can't wait for Summer to come for the cherries, peaches, plums, apricots and mangoes. Heaven!
Datang aje Perth masa Summer, surenya ada all your favourite fruits, hehehe.

3. Sepanjang hidup I, tak pernah lagi melepaks dengan neighbours hahaha! So, harap you batalkan niat nak jadi neighbour I, ye. I only lepaks with friends. And you, Fa, kan ke my fren? So kita lepak, kita lepak! =))

Ayoh Wang,

How true! Kadang2 bila dah down sangat, baca posting orang citer pasal Raya do pung boleh buat I sedih. Hahaha)) BTW, your Raya open-house spread was awesome. ;)

LG,

Yes, I read about your coming home! Have a nice time jalan-jalan cari pisang goreng..hahahaha! I thought orang Selangor pun makan tempoyak. Cer try! ;)

So far, the summer fruits we have here were from Canada. And I dah hentam makan peaches, plums and cherries-lah the most. Nectarine jer tak dapat lagi :(
Teringin gak nak pergi Down Under tu sementara I have two cousins residing in Melbourne and one in Perth. Mostly, teringin nak jumpa my aunt yang ada farm kat Brisbane. Silap hari bulan, I terus migrate hikhik!

I am here now, so larat tak laratlah you layan I, hokay bebeh??

I tak reti makan buah2an luar negera. I am very loyal to my negara so I makan buah2an tempatan aje seperti pithang berangan, pithang raja, pithang abu, auww.., pithang tanduk, pithang montel, pithang rastali, pithang masak ijau, WELL.. all the PITHs kekdahnya.

P/S: seronok tulis 'pithang' banyak2, hahaha.. and ehem, your tea towel looks FAmiliar ler..

Lili said...

CS,

Oops baru I ferasan akan kimeng you ini! I kan rajin melayan kawan..so takde salahnya melayan sorang lagi yang datang agak lewat! hehehehe)))

Oh, kesiannya you tak suka makan buah2an obersea...patut ler epal kat umah you selalu menjadi penghuni paling lama dalam esbok ken?! Pithang memang kesukaan I jugak, nak nak pithang emas bawak belayar tu. I suka yang kecik2 tu ...senang nak ngap!

FYI, about the tea towel, I baru jer cakap dgn my aunt (Wan Intan) mintak dia remind anak dia yang akan balik weekend ni from England to buy me more tea towels, tapi my cousin tu dah tak pergi London, takde chance ler.

PS: I masih musykil pasal kekuitan posting ini. ???
toing toing toing!:D
