Night At Auto-City...

This week has been quite a hectic one when the hubby came up with this silly idea of 'jalan-jalan cari makan'. "Bagi mummy berselera makan semula!" was what he quoted! We ate outside a lot since I started picking up on makan-makan again. So much for manja-manja! Sheeshhh!

Last night we had dinner at a new eating place in Perai, some place called Bangkok Station. The usual Thai fare of Siakap Tiga Rasa, mixed vege, kerabu mangga and tomyam; a so-so rating to my liking...Well, give me Thai food at Siriwan - anytime! Since I was famished, no photos of the food were taken. But I have some pictures of our dinner at Pen-Mutiara a few nights ago... I know you'd be drooling.... :))

Kari Kepala Ikan in a wok

Sotong goreng tepung

So after dinner last night, we went to Juru Auto-City. This is a hip and happening (heh pening!) place to dine and shop. Since dinner was a hearty one, we obviously came here to window-shop. It was MyC's idea and she, as usual had something in mind to buy.

Over all, it was an enjoyable night out - something I have not been doing for a long time! At Juru Auto-City, (where you can find fleets of luxury cars for sale!), this shopping area is also dubbed as Shops in the Park. A very good concept for family outing...

The one shop selling designer bags...and they're original, mind you!
Got the signal from hubby, - no more Aigner! waaaa))))

 Shop in the Park... fun!

MyC...tak sabar nak shopping!

Have a nice day, y'all! :)

k.lili, sotong goreng tepung tu nampak sedap sgt2!! kalau beli handbag, kat msia ni, tersgt la mahalnya. baik beli kat ebay or amazon.com :)

ps : i rela pakai the same handbag bertahun2, and spend my money on pots and pans! hahahaha

Shidah,

Sebenarnya sotong tepung tu tak sesedap yang kak lili makan kat Hammerbay, Penang. The one in the picture had an overpowering taste of bicarbonate soda.

Betul tu Shidah, kat sini mahal bebenor harga designer bags, sebab itu kak lili kirim kat mana2 kawan yang ada family kat US. But not always laa! :)) Betul kan, beli pots and pans lagi berbaloi...boleh guna seramai!

Mah,

Takdelah semuanya aaa tu! Campur-campur...hihi! Anyway, kedai Bagz tu kat Juru Auto-City. Senang jer nak pergi sebab nampak dari Tol Juru tu. Exit ke Juru dan ikut arrow ke auto-city. Kedai2 ni buka dari 5pm ke midninght. Betul2 sebelah PizzaHut. Tapi...parking...masyaallah, seksa!
hehe!

Pen-Mutiara ada dua. The main restaurant kat Batu Maung, Penang. Dekat dgn LKIM. Makan kari kapla ikan oklah...kalo makan lain2 macam kat Thai restaurant tak berapa kick.

Just after Gold Coast condo... situ namanya Hammerbay.

Selamat mencuba! Kebetulan hujung bulan ni I ada banyak undangan kawin...kalo tak boleh gak kita jumpa, ek! :))

Hello Lili, that fish head curry is really sinfully delicious.
I have always loved and enjoyed fish head lemak or curry...

As well it was how I lost my Bachelor's degree.
If not for this dish, my bachelor days last abit longer, adalagi dua tiga SYTs belum pegang tangan yet, da la kena sangkut, macham siakap! Ha ha ha.

An SYt discovered my weaknes, she learned to make it, my style...invited me home for dinner, habis cherita.
Nobody warned me about girls who can cook!

I love your gambars here. Its only thru pics like yours I get glimpses of Malaysia and what it is today.
Waaa, your C has her mom's traffic stopper looks. Da kawain ke?
Have a nice day, and simpan satu lagu dalam hati, Lee.

Hello Lee!

Nice of you to drop by.

Yes, I remember how you lost your Bachelor's degree! Haha!

One day, when you balik kampung, you'll find many new places here and there and how bustling this part of town thrives.

Oopps...I need to clarify something here - MyC is my daughter's nickname for Mysarah!
It was by playfully called, but it stuck among her cousins. Hehe!
I still called her 'Girl'...
MyC is a Form Four student!

You keep a song in your heart too, Lee!

I come here after baca komen you kat blog Ja.

U jiwang dgn lagu Still? hehe.. Somehow tune Still tak datang kat minda, instead lagu Truly takes over. Tolong hummingkan sket 'Still' tu...

we make mistakes along the way...
somehow I know deep in my heart
you needed me...
'cause I needed you so desperately
but you were too blind to see...
but baby most of all
...I do love you...STILL"

There you go! Any recollection? hehe!
