That Day...

One quiet afternoon, after a short trip to Br*nd Outlet to buy me some casual wear, which by the way, has become ritual about every other month once I found that my blouses are mundane; I stepped into my favourite store of all in Queensbay Mall....

 ...where else if not Borders
...to unwind and get a good sniff of coffee aromas at its SetarBak....
...and trying to read some blogs, when all I got was 'no internet connection' that day.
Of all the days... ;p

But as usual, same old same old QueensBay, provides me this certain fixture, that admiring its magnificent view is my personal rights, and I'm always left thinking the entire bay is mine.

...and Queensbay seemed to weep that quiet Tuesday afternoon
from the windows of Borders where these pictures were taken...

...well, it has been raining. Somehow rain is akin to weeping!

One last look before I left that day... but that familiar melancholic feelings would not leave.

I hate leaving the island...

Lili...
6 tahun kami tinggal di Gelugor, Pulau Pinang, tapi Queensbay masa itu hanyalah bangunan tinggal... sebaik kami pindah, Queensbay ujud.. Kami makan angin ke Pulau Pinang, tak berkesempatan lagi nak ke sana... Baca entry u ni buat i geram nak kesana sekarang jugak...
- itulah kuasa membaca dan kuasa u menulis dengan menariknya...

Shidah,

I know exactly that perfect setting you have in mind... it's nothing fancy but luxury alright for me!
But trust me...Borders kat QB is the best...overlooking the see with the Bridge in the background. :)

Ayoh Wang,

Yes...it was your trip to Borders on 8th May, as well as Shidah's and Oldstock's, that brought me back here in QB.

QB is situated further down the coastal road, just after you reach the exit to Bayan Lepas from the Bridge. Take the coastal road and it leads you to Hammerbay where the beautiful Gold Coast Condos are. And Queensbay is just a minute's away.

Formerly known as Bayan Bay...QB opened its door in 2006 after Bayan Bay was taken over by its present developer.

Anyway, I still do my shopping in Gurney Plaza as it has the best outlets to offer. Still Borders is my number one 'lepak' spot because MPH at Gurney does not exude that friendly atmosphere. ;)

Weh...panjang lebar ler pulok!

Oh, by the way, Awang Goneng's AMoT, is not in sight at QB's Borders. Only a few copies of GUiT are available.

Akak,

Walaupun QB tak ujud masa Akak n famili tinggal kat sini, Gurney kan selalu ada! And best pulak tu...hehe! Oh, sekarang dah ada 1-Avenue kat sebelah Hotel Traders. Saya tak pi lagi. :D

Tapikan...kalo Akak kat Glugor dulu, memang tak sampai lima minit jer ke QB..well, kalo tak jam macam selalu kat Minden tu. Hehe))

Terima kasih ye...sebab suka baca tulisan I yang terseberapa ni. <3

Masa kecik2 dulu, I tau kat Penang aje I boleh dapat buah pala diracik2 halus yg diselaputi gula. Suka giler.

Tapi sekarang kat mana2 pun dah ada, lagilah I tak berpeluang ke Penang. How pathetic, Penang pun I tak pernah pergi??

Hari nih mood self-pity.

CS,

Nowadays, nak makanan negeri mane pong dah ada serata tempat...tu pasal kite ni memerap jer kat satu-satu tempat tu. Macam I ni-lah, nak kuor dari Penang rasa rimas sangat. Orang lain dah lepas ke vulan vintang kezora...I masih setia di sini. Aduhai...

Mood hari nih sangat the ceria sebab I dah boleh buat kerja ligat2 dalam umah. TUNGGU....citernye! ;p
